The Carolina Ballet Performs ‘Sleeping Beauty’

I don't know about you, but the thought of taking my little princess to the Carolina Ballet's performance of "Sleeping Beauty" May 15-18 conjures thoughts of twirling through my backyard woods and singing with the birds, in true princess fashion.

Raleigh's internationally renowned Carolina Ballet brings this classic fairytale to life at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts. It will feature original choreography by Marius Petipa set to Tchaikovskly’s greatest scores, and is sure to delight girls—young and old—across the region.

Boutique shopping will be available during all shows and there will be a costume contest at the Saturday 11 a.m. show. Have your photo taken with Miss North Carolina during the Sunday Matinee. Learn more about the Carolina Ballet at www.carolinaballet.com, and order tickets to “Sleeping Beauty” here.
